Some Suggestions of Tours and Routes


From Inverness we follow Loch Ness to visit Urquhart Castle, after the visit we continue to
visit Eileen Donan Castle, after which we continue to Kyle of Lochalsh for lunch
with views of the Isle of Skye and the Skye Bridge.
We then turn north to Plockton with its micro climate, along Loch Carron
and through Forests and Glens to Beauly and back to Inverness.

From Inverness we take the A9 south to Aviemore to join the
Strathspey Steam Railway and take a return train ride to Broomhill.
We then continue to Cairngorm Mountain and ride to the top in the Funicular Railway.
After lunch and the great views (weather permitting) we take the Funicular down
and pass by the Findhorn Railway Viaduct on our way to the Tomatin Distillery.
After the tour and Whiskey tasting we return to Inverness.

From Inverness we cross the Moray Firth, Black Isle, Cromarty Firth
and Dornoch Firth to Dunrobin Castle to visit and see the Falconry Display
and then stop for lunch at the Castle
After lunch we return through Inverness to visit the Culloden Battlefield,
and then continue to visit Cawdor Castle and Gardens, after which we return to Inverness
